Hi, I’m Lindsey!

I’m a mom of three, a former high school teacher turned Child Life Specialist, and an (accidental!) content creator.

My journey into this little corner of the internet started in 2020. We had recently moved our family to California when the world shut down, and somewhere in the middle of raising little kids, being far from home and navigating a season none of us saw coming, I realized I was losing a bit of myself in motherhood, and what I needed was something that was just for me.

What began as simple lip syncs slowly turned into skits about motherhood and family life — and then, somehow, things took off. Cardi B reposted one of my videos, supermodels were using my audio, and Nick Carter (yes, the Backstreet Boy!) commented on a video. Naturally, I decided I had made it. 😉 But as this community grew, so did my understanding of what I actually wanted this space to be.

I want my content to bring joy. I want moms to laugh, feel understood and see pieces of their own beautifully imperfect families reflected back at them. I want to create the kind of corner of the internet that reminds us we can deeply love motherhood while still needing space to be ourselves — and that none of us are doing this alone. And I hope to inspire a little spark of achievable creativity (picture whatever the opposite of Pinterest is!)

My faith is at the centre of who I am, and over the years I’ve come to see my two very different careers as two different ways I get to live that out.

Becoming a Child Life Specialist was the best career decision I could have made. I genuinely love my job and the privilege of walking alongside children and families during some of their hardest moments. It gives me the opportunity to be the hands and feet of Jesus on the ground — showing up, serving, comforting and helping make difficult things a little less scary. What a blessing it is that I get to call this my career.

Content creation looks completely different, but I believe there’s purpose there too. If something I create can bring a little joy to someone’s day, make a mom laugh when she desperately needs it, help her feel seen, or remind her that she isn’t alone, then this accidental career has become something far more meaningful than I ever expected.

At the end of the day, the roles I’m most grateful for are the ones that allow me to connect with people — spending time with my own sweet family of course, but also when supporting a child and family in real life or making another mom on the other side of a screen feel a little less alone.

How blessed am I to do both! ❤️
